Early Childhood Partners PDF Print E-mail

babyface.jpgThe Surrey/White Rock Early Childhood Partners have agreed to work together to support the health, well-being and learning potential of young children during the first six years of life, in collaboration with families and community organizations.  The group includes Fraser Health (Health Promotion and Prevention), the Ministry of Children and Family Development (Surrey area), School District 36 (Surrey), the City of Surrey and the United Way of the Lower Mainland.

In recognition that there is a need to collaboratively research, plan, co-ordinate and fund early childhood development, learning and care initiatives in the Surrey/White Rock area, the Early Childhood Partners, in conjunction with the Surrey/White Rock Make Children First initiative, established a jointly funded Office of Early Childhood Development, Learning and Care in January 2006, to address those needs.  The Office is currently hosted by School District 36 (Surrey).
